If you still enjoy movies on DVD, a basic player can bring an existing collection back into use. This one offers HDMI and RCA connections and an included remote.
We bought this player because we wanted to watch a movie from our physical DVD collection. It offers HDMI and RCA connections and comes with a remote, giving us a simple way to bring those discs back into use.
The front USB port was slightly tilted on our unit, a cosmetic detail I noticed. I would choose it for basic DVD playback rather than expecting a modern Blu-ray player or streaming device.

Quick Verdict
A straightforward way for us to watch the DVDs we already own. The included HDMI cable was convenient, but this is a DVD player, so it doesn't solve Blu-ray playback.
