Adding a date or batch code is a practical need for small production runs. This printer uses an adjustable tray and foot pedal, and the video follows our workflow with small containers.
We needed to add a date without printing over an existing lot code. After setting the text in the software and adjusting the tray, I could feed containers with one hand and remove them with the other while using the foot pedal. The printing was clean and kept up with my pace.
The software is a little clunky, although it did what we needed. Cartridge care is important: leaving the print head exposed during a break can let it dry and affect printing, so I use its cover when we're finished. Installing the cartridge took some care the first time, and replacement cartridges are expensive.
