A soft mattress pad is more appealing in a guest room when it can also go through the laundry. This Niagara topper combines a pillowy feel with fitted pockets, and I explain why washability matters in our home.
The topper arrives compressed and starts to fluff up after the packaging is opened. What stands out to me is the soft, pillowy feel of the bamboo-derived rayon blend cover. We use it on a guest bed, where being able to put the topper through the laundry matters to us.
For our home, keeping our beds clean and fresh is the only choice, and its washable design make it the obvious and better choice vs unwashable memory foam toppers.
