A very firm mattress can feel more inviting with a softer pad-style layer. This Bedlore bamboo-derived-viscose topper is the one we chose for our guest bed.
The brand supplied the topper. We tried it on a firm all-foam guest mattress after finding some foam toppers too warm. I like the extra soft layer and the ability to launder it.

Quick Verdict
This Bedlore topper made our unusually firm foam guest mattress feel softer and more inviting without the hot-sleeping impression we had with previous foam toppers.
